What sort of scholarships does UCF give for National Merit?

Title pretty much sums up the question.

Look, I hate for this to go totally unanswered. I don't know the exact scholarship details, however, at my S's high school, I know that #2 in the class chose UCF ( and he was National Merit) because of their great scholarships. I know he turned down several other schools because he's going pre-med, and he told my S that going to UCF allowed him to get through undergraduate school debt free. I know that my S, who was not national merit, was given a very nice bit of merit aid. We called it his signing bonus. <g>

Wow! My D, who's a jr., has been considering UCF since her brother started there. She's been very impressed with how things have gone with him as far as his housing and his very short time in the Burnett Honors College. (Plus, she's become one of those screaming, stomping Knights at the past two home games <g>) As she is also considering med/pharmacy, she knows that she'll have additional graduate work past the undergrad degree, and she'd heard rumors that the money at UCF was good. She's taking the PSAT in Oct (the one that counts). She was extremely close last year (10th grade) to the cut-off so she's hoping that she'll be able to hit semi-finalist this year. She's doing some prep work, which she didn't do last year. I appreciate you digging that up cybermom ... very interesting.

They give you everything and serve it on a silver platter. I don't think there are but a handful of schools that offer more to Merit finalists and semi-finalists.

Unfortunately I just missed the cutoff, but they still offered me a very nice package. I got 27,000 over the 4 years as an OOS student. So even if you don't make it if you have great stats they are going to give you money.
