Exactly, as coasterphill said. One of my S's friends appts. is Nov. 15th. That's the first day he can schedule his classes. I think they open things up in blocks, just as they did for fall semester. S was told that those not doing priority reg. (through honors, or LEAD, or whatever) would begin scheduling -- depending on their time -- after 10/31.
