Has anyone here been invited? Do they invite everyone or just students who applied to the Honor's College. Do you know anyone who has attended? Is it a worthwhile experience?

My daughter received an invitation yesterday. We don't know anything about it except for what we could find on the website. We're checking our calendars to see if we can go. Are you attending? By the way, my daughter is accepted to Burnett and also received a Pegasus scholarship offer - I thought maybe one of those factors was the reason for the invite???

We are also checking our schedule to see if we can go. I think it might be nice. My husband and I have never visited the campus.

My daughter also got a Pegasus scholarship, and she just sent in her Burnett Honors College application last week.

Has your daughter decided to attend the college?

She's definitely attending. After visiting several schools in and out of Florida, UCF was her favorite. She applied back in Sept. and was accepted within a few weeks, so she didn't apply anywhere else. We love the school. I have another daughter who is a sophomore at UCF. You really need to visit. You will be sold - for sure!

My daughter also fell in love with the campus when she visited in the fall. The information about the honor's college sounds very interesting. The honor's college and Pegasus scholarship are both big draws for us.

Keep me posted if you hear more information about the Scholar's Day.

I got the Scholar's invite, too. Not really sure what the difference is between that and a mixture of Open House/Orientation.
