When do deferred students recieve news on admission to UCF?

My BF applied RD1 and was unfortuantely deferred to the following round. During RD2 there was no change on his status on the UCF site. Now it's early April and still no word...

When exactly do deferred students hear whether or not they got accepted? Do they have a seperate date which they find out?

I know that they let everyone know by May 1 for regular applications, so I'm thinking that probably works for deferred students, as well.

There is no RD1 or RD2 at UCF as it is on rolling admissions. My friend's son was differed last November and just went online to his status check yesterday to find out that he is now waitlisted.
