How many APs?

SORRY THE TITLE IS INCORRECT. I CHANGED MY MIND IN THE MIDDLE.

Hey guys, I'm a prospective (hopeful!) student of UofC, living in Seoul and I was wondering what kind of extra curricular activities the admission officers really take notice of..I've never been to an American high school, so I'm almost completely unaware of what my contemporaries are doing at the moment.

Personally, I've been getting deeply involved in Amnesty International, doing coordinating, planning, people-meeting etc, but will that sound good enough on my college transcripts? (I know very well that I sound like a selfish, calculating *******, but I'm not ) Anyway, though I'm certainly not going to abandon human rights simply for a better shot at college, I still feel like I need to be in control of things, because if what I'm doing is insufficient, I probably need to start another activity quick!!

Tell me what you think please!!

If you're passionate about Amnesty, that's wonderful. You don't *need* to do more things.
