waitlist chances?

Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any information about how likely it is that Chicago let me in off the waitlist this year. I've read that they average about 8%, but hoping it's higher this year.

Also, any suggestions as to how I might improve my chances would also be appreciated. Thanks.

almost forgot..

By the way, how exactly would I go about finding the U of Chicago admissions representative in my area? Is it on the website somewhere?

I just got off of the waitlist. My advice to you would be to send an additional letter detailing exactly why you want to go to the U of C. As for finding your admissions representative, go to your college admissions account page. On the right hand side toward the bottom of the page, there should be the name of your rep and a phone number you can use to contact them.
