EA applicants must interview by Nov. 6: https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.e...terviews.shtml
Call the number listed on that website to schedule an on-campus interview.

i previously asked if i can get recommendation for my principal..
He said yes.
I wanted to add him on my common application.
Would he be classified as a counselor or teacher? I needed to choose one of them.

So would i need to classify him as a teacher?
If so, what subject?

Since your principal was not your teacher in an academic subject, you can send his recommendation in as an additional recommendation after you submit the two required teacher recommendations for academic subject teachers- use the supplements form to accomplish this, and you'll need to submit it by mail instead of online.

I checked out the supplements form that i can print out to give him.
The only recommendation form i could ever find was teacher evaluation form.
https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/DownloadForms.aspx
In teacher evaluation, it asks for what subject he teaches.
Do you think he should just leave that part blank?

Just have him fill in whatever applies to his relationship with you.

Sara- the art department at Chicago is not heavy on ceramics or pottery, but has programs through the Hyde Park Arts Center through which art students can use the facilities for pottery and take classes there at a very discounted rate.

collegeahh- Latin definitely would count, but I am unsure about journalism- my answer is a tentative probably, but check with your regional counselor to confirm. On course choices- there are no specifically required courses to take, but a standard college preparatory program is ideal: 4 years of English; 3–4 years of math; 3–4 years of laboratory sciences; 3 or more years of social sciences; and study of a foreign language. We also like to see students taking courses at the most advanced level appropriate to them and available at their school.
