I saw this article a while ago. I was curious what this statement meant:
"Students who receive need-based aid contribute an average of $9,000 from their personal resources toward tuition, room and board, and other fees."
Does this mean that the average expected student contribution is $9k? Surely it doesn't mean that the average tuition is $9k? If it's the former, I don't see how it's relevant.
