For housing application, are those who are accepted EA given priority over regulars?

For the order in which housing is filled, that is. Does EA get a head start no matter when they turn it in?

On a related note, how likely is it that I will get Max P if it its my first choice and I turn the thing in now?

You are placed in the housing queue when you turn in your housing application. Thus, you only gain an advantage by being EA if you turn in the housing application before RD admits are given the chance to do so.

You might get into Max if you turn the housing application in right now. We can't really tell you with any certainty.

Last year EA admits got preference if they turned in their housing applications by April 15. I only remember this because my D went to the first set of prospie days and delivered her admission deposit and housing application in person so as to get it in before the deadline. I don't know if they did anything different this year.

The two dorms that seem to have a disproportionate amount of EA kids are Snitchcock and BJ, which makes me think that they fill up the fastest.

If you don't get into your first choice, don't worry. Give yourself a few days to live there, and then you'll be convinced it's the best dorm on campus and all the others stink.
