Just to let everyone know, there aren't a lot of posters by admitted/enrolled UC students because of the forums on thickenvelope. So go there It is mucho better than CC, IMO....
better than CC? well maybe if you are set on chicago. but it won't have as many current students, and wont give me unfavorable opinions which are useful.
Actually, I really disagree with you chicagoboy12, maybe you didn't look through it hard enough. There are a number of posts on there like "I'm leaning away from UChicago..." and "UChicago vs. (insert school name here)" on there. People give good opinions, including "do go to UChi based on your circumstances/person" and "don't go to UChi". Just look around. The current active thread is "The Re-Questioning of Current Students", in which you'll find page after page of Q&A's from current students.
well, BOHEEP, there is a limited number of current students that post, whom are from the PSAC which i would say favors the side of chicago. and those posts such as "im leaning away from chicago" are from prospective students, which arent that useful to me for information about college life.
thick envelope is depressing cause all the people are talking about how they are leaving chicago for another school, and it feels too involved. being on thickenvelope you feel obligated to be positive about chicago, but this site is confidential so you (or other people) can give your sincere thoughts about the place.
chicagoboy12 is correct. it would be kinda funny if we found out that unalove or somebody on CC was actually one of the current students (aka Karen) also posting on ThickEnvelope.
