I made a UChicago account a year ago and I've just submitted my application on the 1st. I never received an email prompting me to make an account which got me worried because I needed to request an alumni interview. Today I logged on to the account and found that a "request an alumni interview" and "update your application" button magically appeared. I assume this means that my old account became my application account....? If it did, where can I check to see that all my application stuff is in?

Yep, your old account became your application account. We're still sorting through the huge monster pile that is EA Application Mail right now, but your application credentials should be listed on your Chicago account in the coming weeks- don't worry about it now if you don't see anything there. We'll definitely let you know if anything crucial is missing with ample time to get it in.
