still, the general conscencus is that U Cinci is not that prestigious. Being published in the NYTimes and BBC are not really so spectacular of accomplishments.
I know several people at the school, and I know for a fact it is pretty easy to get into.
That said, it is a pretty cool campus, and generally a decent place, despite the surrounding neighborhood.
The best research school in Ohio is still by far Case Western followed by Ohio State and U Dayton (debatable)
