UC's CAT

Hey everyone, I have a dilemma. I got into the Center for Access and Transition, so obviously UC didn't think my credentials were completely up to par compared to a normal UC student. I'm not debating that, but my question is about CAT in general. What are the living arrangements for CAT students? How long do students generally stay in the program and lastly for some reason I feel like CAT students would be looked at condescendingly by normal UC students, am I completely off my rocker by thinking that? I don't want to put myself in a position where I am disadvantaged, but at the same time I really want to go to UC. What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear from a UC student and even better a UC CAT student, thanks.

Taylor399, CAT is a good program that tries to help kids with remediation if UC feel that their skills may not be up to par. It is a one year program. If you do well in it, you will gain admission to most of the UC programs.

You can learn a lot more about it by going to:The University of Cincinnati Center for Access and Transition (CAT)
