University of Cincinnati announced that they ( along with many other state universities in Ohio) will switch to semesters beginning in Autumn 2012

My daughter was accepted to UC DAAP for interior design and is trying to decide between Kansas State(interior architecture), Drexel, Philadelphia U and Cinci. Obviously Co-op is a big draw to Cinci. As I read the sample course schedule grid, the switch to semesters (because she is supposed to graduate in 2013) would mean that either in the spring and summer of her Junior year or the summer and fall of her junior year she would be on co-op back to back and her total time on co-op would be longer than under the current system. I think that would be a good thing overall.
