Orientation

Are parents supposed to go to orientation? Do most of them go? My mom is worried that shes the only one so I figured I'd ask.

Parents do not need to go but plenty do. At least this was true for the August orientation, which is mostly OOSers, and is also a move-in day. Perhaps less true for in-state orientations earlier in the summer.

There are LOTS of parents at orientation. They even have a "parent orientation" section where the parents are give lots of information they need. You get to stay in a dorm while you are there, but she will need to find a hotel room.

I'm a recent CU grad, congrats for getting in. It's an awesome school.

Go to The Sink (burgers to die for) for me, okay? And Tra-Ling's (near Hale/Varsity Lake) is the best Chinese. And Santiagos (same area) is the best Mexican food (take-out only), and...

Oh, I miss that place!
