Chance me?! AND advice for a visit?

Hello :> I am very interested in this school and will be visiting and attending an open house in Storrs. Does anyone have any advice for either of those? What should I be sure to check out on campus? Can I sit in on a class? What should I expect?

I would also like someone to chance me as an incoming transfer student with an associate's degree in biology. In high school I didn't really care about school. I graduated with something like a 1.5 in 2011. My first semester of college I failed out of and then took another semester off. I started part time in fall 2012, went full time in spring 2013 and will be graduating in spring 2015. My anticipated gpa will be a 3.4. When I apply, I will have a few months of yoga club, unofficial tutoring experience, and some various volunteer experiences with animals: I volunteered for a cat organization during the fall 2013 semester. I also volunteer monthly at a private farm caring for donkeys, goats, chickens, and rabbits.

I will be attending an open house and a campus tour. I'm not sure how strong my application is going to be, but I will do anything I can to improve my application. I plan to apply in December.
