UConn vs. UDel

I was accepted to both of their Engineering programs. They're both around the same price to me, and I'm equidistant from both of them. When i went to visit, I loved both of them.

Which one has the better engineering program and how do I choose between the two?

Well you're going to get biased responses if you post here. seeing as this is the Uconn forum.

I'm sure they're pretty even, I'd pick based on where you want to live. If you want to live in the philly/delaware/nj area then go to Udel and if you want to stay in the New England/NY area then go to Uconn.

Depends on the type of engineering that you're interested in. Overall, I would say that Delaware is better (no dig on UConn, which is also a fine school). If you're interested in chemical engineering, then it's Delaware hands down -- Dupont has poured tons of money into Delaware's program and it shows.

My S had the same decision last year. Choose Delaware and is loving it.
