I know everyone gets tired of being asked this but, I was interested in going to UConn to major in Pathology. I have:

-Top 20% of class (Private School in Memphis, TN)
-Extracurriculars:
1. Students Ambassador

3. Member of National Latin Honor Society and my schools Latin Club
4. Member of school's writing/reading club
5. School's Broadcasting System
6. 100+ hours of Community Service
-2 AP courses
-8 Honors classes

This year, I am taking:
1. Physics
2. English IV
3. Pre-Calculus
4. Religion IV (Religious Private School)
5. Latin IV (Vergil's Aeneid)
6. History and Appreciation of Art
7. Acting V

Thanks for your time

Wow, thanks ThePhilosopher. I wasn't sure if UConn was much more selective with their OOS students or not.

They are, but your GPA is good WITH some challenging classes. Your ACT is average, but again, I think you make up for it. As long as you write a good personal essay, you have a good chance.

Thanks to budget problems, I wouldn't be surprised if this year's class has more OOS students than previous classes. I'm curious to see what the numbers will be when they are released after this year's admission cycle.

^ The University, believe it or not, loses money for accepting out-of-state students. The reason for this is because the State reimburses the University per in-state student. Numbers should be about the same.
