UConn application deadline is Dec 1

I know, I know, the web site says Feb 1 is the deadline and Dec 1 is for early action. But if UCONN is your first choice (or especially if you think its a safety) apply by Dec 1. Like other state schools UCONN employs rolling admissions. Thus if 10,000 qualified students apply early, they are happy to just fill their class and be done with it. If you don't believe me just search the threads here and you will find top students with 2100 on their SATs who did not get in because they applied too close to the deadline. For all the "chances" threads here - keep that in mind.

Agreed. Even if UConn is NOT your first choice, apply early action (which is non-binding).
