I just bought my daughter a portable file folder storage box. Then I realized that maybe this isn't needed - do the desks have a drawer where you can hang file folders? If any current students or parents know I would appreciate it (she is in Russell).

My feeble recollection is that the desks in Russell had three shallow drawers. Of course that was pre-renovation. What I can say for sure is that it's much better if you let your D choose stuff for the room ... that way Y-O-U can be the problem-solver when things don't turn out as envisioned! (When we were arranging D's 3rd Floor room in Russell it seemed that every critical dimension was just a tad too small.) By all means bring the storage box, since you already have it.
