My S3 will be applying to Denver this fall. He is very impressed by the education and opportunities his older brother is getting there.

I'm definitely impressed and so its on the top of my list, I've already started getting everything ready to apply, since internationals are reviewed on a rolling admission basis, so I an get a answer as soon as possible

I have another question, seeing that DU is known for its business program and a lot of persons that apply their are business oriented are the other programs they offer kind of sidelined and not given much attention

No, not at all. DU has a lot of wonderful programs and the problem is finding the time and schedule space to fit in everything you are interested in.

My youngest son just completed his EA app to University of Denver. He loved it when he visited his brother there. He had essay trouble too.

Well I have made a lot of progress, just putting on the finishing touches, trying to make the EA deadline.

You'll need to talk to your advisor once you get to campus. Partly it will depend on how many credits you come in with and how heavy a load you are willing to carry each quarter. My son who is a soph at Denver really likes the quarter system, but it can be a rather brutal workload--you can't let up at all because the ten weeks go by so quickly, and getting sick can be a real disaster. Also, check to see if you can set up your schedule so that certain courses can do double duty toward your requirements for each major/minor.

A new problem has arisen , so i read in a guide for applying to college today and it said that I should fill out my applications buy using a typewriter unless specified and i already filled out mine by hand is this going to be a huge problem? I mean the type writer is not really a big thing here unless you are a secretary it's either the computer or by hand.I have made it as legible as possible by doing it in block letters.
