In the 2008-2009 US News "ranking" of universities, U. of Denver did not show any financial aid info. Their web site also does not appear to reflect much emphasis on financial aid relative to similar universities. As I know I cannot afford $50,000+/- a year for my daughter to attend the school, does anyone know how this school's financial aid package compares to similar schools? My daughter is looking for a school with both a hospitality major and a business school.

There's no harm in applying! I'm going to University of Denver and was awarded 2 scholarships which cover almost all of the tuition. I didn't get any financial aid grants so I don't know how generous they are with those but the university has scholarships for good grades and also from various departments. I'm a theater major so one of mine is audition based, but I remember my tour guide was in Hotel Restaurant Management and had a scholarship from his department as well. So it's really worth applying as they seem to reward hard work in high school.
