What exactly is Flex Bucks?

    Flex Bucks are dollars that you can spend at any of the food establishments on campus. For instance, if you buy a $1600.00 meal plan for 19 meals a week, and it comes with $350.00 in Flex Bucks, you can spend the $350.00 in any of the restaurants on campus. The cashier scans your UFID card, and the amount of purchase is deducted from your $350.00 in Flex Bucks. My son used his Flex Bucks to eat at the campus restaurants on days when he didn't have enough time in between classes to get to one of the UF dining rooms. There were a lot of Starbucks charges on his account, too :-)

    You can check your Flex Bucks account balance during the semester, by going on Gator1Central.
