K another question.......If i were only to have one foreign language credit.....and i did my 2nd (spanish 2) in 12th grade....Would it still count as the 2nd consecutive?
I'm worrying that it wouldn't because when you apply, you are still in the middle of taking Spanish 2......and if i have block scheduling Spanish 2 could be in the second half of the year so i technically wouldn't have 2 foreign language credits when i apply in november of 2010.

Basically, if i have Spanish 1, is it safe to take Spanish 2 in 12th grade no matter when the class is? As long as i have two consecutive by the end of highschool right?

I think the requirement is to finish all the required reqs before matriculation, so spanish 2 in 12th grade would be fine. But I would clarify with your school adviser since different schools have different schedules and the way they handle credits.

WynGator- I only took 2 years of foreign language and will be starting in the fall. I think it's only a piece of the package, as long as you have other outstanding credentials.
