My daughter just had to pay for an access code for a class where we bought a new book, just not from the UF bookstore. Is this just their way of making you pay them? I expected that if the book was used, but this one was not.

My d got her calc 3 book, (only the calc 3 part ... not the big book w/ all 3 calcs in it) and it didn't come with a webassign code. She was told to ask her prof to make sure he/she used the code, and if they did she could pick up the code at the bookstore or go to WebAssign - and purchase the code on-line. And, yeah, if the prof uses webassignments you have to buy a code.
