PLEAE READ: Thread about Need-Based aid at UF

Florida Opportunity Scholars Program is a need-based scholarships at the University of Florida. The objective of the scholarship is to retain these particular students and have them graduate at rates equal to or greater than the standard undergraduate population on campus.

Also may want to consider an ROTC Scholarship

UF has Navy, Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force Scholarships to give out.

The physical demands of the Air Force is pretty darn easy as well by the way.

My family income is going to be about a little more than 40k probably but NOT much over.. maybe 1k-2k most... BUT my sister is in college right now. Do you think that will factor and I may be able to get that Opportunity Scholars? I meet all other req's.

^ I honestly do not know. Not sure how it all works, and just wanted to spread awareness that the program is available to potential UF-hopefulls.
