| Book Store hi guys, I'm wondering how to book store function in OASIS works. I picked Math, biology, Engl, Hist and SPCM for fall semester. When I clicked the book store button, it only showed me books for Biol and Math. Does it mean I don't need books for Engl, Hist and SPCM or I'll have to purchase books for those courses later? This is so confusing.
By the way, I just got my AP Cal score back. I got 5. Would you recommend Cal II for a freshman majoring in Business/Finance? |

| Try this: Locate Course Materials
just put in all the information they want and that'll tell you what books your professors have told the bookstore. remember to check out off campus bookstores first. most of them sell their books for less than what the on campus book store does. |

| Hi jenmarie,
Thank you for your reply. When I tried to use that website, there was a "Select your section" part. I'm not sure what that means and how to choose one. Could you please explain? |

| Go on Oasis > Registration > View or Print Class Schedule
The Call # (3rd column) is your section number. |

| When I search for a particular book at places like amazon. There are like more than one editions. How do I know what edition to buy or any edition will be fine? For example, I was searching for University Calculus. On Amazon there were University Calculus: Alternate Edition, Part One (Single Variable, Chap 1-9), University Calculus: Elements with Early Transcendentals.
Is there anyway I can get the exact ISBN# from the UGA bookstore. Is it true that they try to hide the ISBN# so that students will have to buy from them? Any advice? |

| It should say what addition they want when you search for it on their website. You could also try calling them and be persistent. If they don't give it to you, you could try calling some off campus bookstores (I like Baxter Street Bookstore). |

| They do make it tough to get the ISBN but what I do is search Amazon for the book title, author, and edition, get the IBSN from using that search, and then plug the isbn into BIGWORDS.com BIGWORDS.com will give you the cheapest price on any book and searches reputable sellers. |

| I went to the UGA bookstore a few days ago, although it was a three hour drive for me, and I bought some of the books. They didn't have a couple of the books, and the guy was helpful and gave me the ISBN #. I guess it just really depends on the person behind the desk at the UGA bookstore. Over the phone, it might be more difficult though. |

| @Space10045: yeah, that's probably what I'm gonna do. Thanks.
@patel: I know the convenience of just walking into the bookstore and walk out with your books but hey, books at the bookstore cost you a lot more than at off campus or online bookstores. |
