How many people are accepted?

Just wondering, how many people does Hartt accept for MT?


I know the list says 25ish but I've been seeing wayyyyy more than that





Is 25 the old number?

At the NYC Unified, I asked and they said they accept 40ish with the anticipation of getting apprx. 20-25. It seems to be one of the bigger acceptance rate schools. I asked them - what if all 40 accept and she said they could just add classes. I didn't hear any other schools saying this.

Number of auditions vs. number accepted

freedom - in response to your question about how many auditions they see a year--

I had heard at one point that they have about 400 audition for MT/Acting. Also, that they would accept about 60 for for the MT program, hoping to yield about 25. I obviously can't confirm those numbers, but that's what I had been told at one point.

I talked to Hartt on Friday and the receptionist was working on "a stack of letters" that would be mailed on Tuesday.
