Hartford Art School Ceramics program?

Hello,
I am hoping that someone can tell me about the ceramics program @ U of Hartford. My D and I went to a National Portfolio Review Day there recently, but did not get a chance to really see the school or talk to staff due to the busy nature of the portfolio day and the fact that we ended up getting stuck in the blizzard! Does this program have a good reputation? D has a 3.5 GPA and 27 ACT along with a very strong portfolio. She has applied Early Action but we really don't know much about the place but have heard very mixed reviews. Any info would br greatly appreciated!

Don't know about the ceramics program, but my daughter had a roommate who was in the art school and said it was a good program overall. She worked hard! With those stats, your d would be in good shape for significant merit aid.

thanks for the input! They have offered her a very generous art scholarship, but we don't know much about the reputation or faculty of that dept. Plan a visit in the spring to check it out! Does your d attend there, and if so is she happy there?
