I'm also scheduled for the luncheon 11:30-12:15 on Friday the 16th. Students who are helping be wearing red Maryland Honors T-shirts. One thing about Maryland you don't find out until you go to Orientation...you get a ton of free shirts. I have about 6 or 7 that I got first semester and orientation.

I'm not affiliated with admissions/honors/scholarships--I wouldn't know. I would guess so, since interviews are this week and next.

It's a full-ride on the line--so it's formal in the sense that it's a big deal. Dress up.

OK...I don't remember what they said on interview day---is it the first week of April that they announce the scholarship amounts? Good luck everybody!

Freaking Out!!!!

I am completely NERVOUS and WORRIED. Compared to the people who posted their stats, I'm nowhere near some of their scores!!! So in order to get this full paid scholarship, what is the average recipient like? I have just a few questions to ensure I do my best:
-What is the interview like (topics)? Is it just the student (no parents)?
-Do you have to dress up (like skirts or dresses for girls?)
-How many full scholarships are awarded? How many semifinalists are there?
-If your not #1 in your class, plus your SAT scores SUCKED, what is the chance of getting the scholarship over the other AMAZING students?
-Do twins or minorities have a better shot ;-) ?

So if someone could answer these questions for me, that be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Britwilly4, were you invited for this scholarship? I'm just wondering when people heard or will hear.
