OOS Chances, Please

Visiting the campus next week, and so I'm hoping to show that I have a legitimate interest in the school.

Here are my stats/info:

Unweighted GPA: 3.55-3.60
Weighted GPA: 3.60-3.65
ACT score: currently 26, anticipating a 28+ on the Oct. ACT
SAT score: 1830
School doesn't report ranks.
State: Nebraska
Gender: Male
Religion: Jehovah's Witness

Good recommendations and an essay dealing with how a parent's addiction has influenced me as a person.

As for extra-curriculars, no real leadership positions, but I was a varsity athlete for three years, have done political campaign work, have held a job since freshman year (at times two jobs). Also, around 500 hours of community service.

Here's the freshman profile.
University of Maryland - Freshman Profile Information
Admissions told us that they look at only CR and Math scores and don't consider the writing section. Hope you enjoy your visit.

Does Maryland take geographic diversity into consideration? I can't imagine many/any Nebraska kids going there.
