You only need a transcript for Orientation if you took college classes in high school that may give you credit for a prereq and it's not on your UMD transcript yet (esp Math/Science). Otherwise, I think final transcripts go to Undergraduate Admissions in the Mitchell Building.
I was talking about students who take community college classes during high school.
Also, if you're in ARHU, you have a foreign language requirement that can be waived if you took up to level 4 in high school, and you can skip level 1 of many languages if your high school transcripts show that you took 3 years of a language.
