My D auditioned for the BFA, but when I called the theatre dept. I didn't specify that. They just said that they were going to finish their decision making process last Friday (the 9th) and that we should hear within 2 weeks from admissions. Next week and the week after should be big ones for my D. I am a wreck!
okayy so i got an email saying that I was invited to an accepted students reception but i hav not got a letter in the mail yet saying i was accepted to the mt program.... not sure what to think about that
I got in for vocal performance for a BM.
i dont get why.. my grades stink and im no classical girl.. im a musical theatre girl. I'm Happy i got in but SO confussed!!!!
i got in for musical theatre, and i was just wondering to the person who visited already-did you like the campus? and if you got to see a show did you like it? thanks!
I have to say it was the most gorgeous campus I visited. The campus surrounds a lake that has fountains in it. Everything is green and there are palm trees. The buildings have that spanish feel to it. So if you like tropical, it's perfect and wonderful. I didn't get to see a show, but we did get to hear a voice recital type thing with both musical theater and classical. It was impressive. The one girl was absolutely amazing, and everyone was really good. The people who were watching seemed really supportive too. I got in for the BA of music and I am really leaning toward it because of the great atmosphere... and wonderful weather lol
I loved it too, and I already live in Florida, so I'm used to all the palm trees and "tropical" feel! It's really gorgeous and they have so much to offer. I also saw the voice forum, which was excellent. Liz24, did you get in for the BFA or BM? I auditioned for the BM, I'm on the waiting list but I got into the BA program. I'm like 75% sure that I want to go but it depends on money and such...what are the rest of you guys thinking of doing?
