UMichigan vs Berkeley vs Chapel Hill vs UVa

What do you guys think? I have no idea.

These aren't my top choices but they're my middle schools and none of my top schools have replied yet. So, I am just trying to figure some stuff out and I need advice. I have only visited UMichigan out of all of these. Im from Arizona. And I want to major in public policy or political science.

Michigan is very strong in political science and has an undergraduate public policy program with a strong reputation. Admimssion for public policy is competitive.

You cannot go wrong. Those are four amazing universities. Is there a cost difference and is money even a factor? I know UNC is significantly cheaper than Cal and Michigan. If money is not a concern, I would go with fit. How did you like Michigan? You should visit the other schools if you get the chance.

Berkeley and Michigan > UVA and UNC. That is if money is not an issue.

What is the difference in the types of students that attend Berkeley and UMich?? I hear that UC Berkeley is super academically competitive, where UMich students are very academic but more well rounded, any thoughts ??

With 24,000-26,000 undergrads, I do not think it is possible to generalize on the student bodies at those two universities.

You got probably 4 out of the top 5 publics there so not a bad decision to have to make. Just from my prospective, I don't like the south so UVA and UNC would be out. Then with Berkeley and Michigan, the UC system is melting down faster than Japan (too soon? sorry) so I would head up to AA, but your decision, not mine.

Even though I think Berkley and Michigan are a bit better than UVA and UNC, I'd pick based on cost.
