Indeed. The average student at Michigan isn't all that smart, so you will do well in comparison if you're good at tests of give yourself signifcant preparation. Mid-terms, however, can be different. Sometimes professors are clueless as to how fast students are, so they can give bad mid-terms. For example, I probably got around a 20% on my physics mid-term this afternoon, but the class average wll probably be around a 12%.

ya im going to fail my italian midterm... its the day after break, and im going to vegas for spring break... :-(

It just depends on the class I guess, obviously intro class finals are going to be easier than say a math 525 final.

Eeek... Math 525 would be at the grad school level! Of course that would be more difficult! However, yes, I agree that the intro classes would be easier than the more advanced ones. Sometimes, I'm so glad I'm only a freshman.
