I just got back from Champaign this weekend. Visited UIUC. I have to say, it was better seeing my friends than seeing the actual university...

@Matisyahu - I don't think anybody knows where they are living yet (especially if they signed up to live in the dorms). The housing forms were just released, so I think it'll be some time before we receive those decisions. All in all, we have to wait some more. I know just how much everyone on here loves waiting for decisions. :P

@d4wnzz - That sucks that you won't be able to meet up with Albo and I at the 12th orientation. They really shouldn't schedule these during finals' week.

If you are an international student (based on your other post) and got any financial aid at all, that's "good" financial aid for Michigan

True thing is I also applied to Georgia tech since my girlfriend is there. And then she broke up with me after I paid the deposit to Georgia. I think now I am going decline Georgia's offer and
go blue!!! But I have to forfeit my deposit to Georgia, feeling a little blue..

@Welcome to the club. It's even more frustrating that they gave me a $10,000 per year scholarship last year. If I end up choosing Michigan, student loans here I come.

So if we get to sign up for classes at orientation, wouldn't that put us at a huge disadvantage? U-M students are signing up in the middle of November.

Yeah, we get bottom of the barrel. I got a letter from U-M that said classes within certain majors will be full. We'll be stuck with the 8 am's or completely random classes that don't have much to do with anything.

I created a Uniquename like 2 days ago and it won't let me sign up for housing or orientation.
