Withdrawing from class

I am taking 7 difficult classes this year (4 AP's) in addition to an honors physics. I stand to receive a B+ and a C for 1st and 2nd marking periods in physics.

I was recently accepted to UM. I have applications out to other schools and am worried that this second marking period grade will greatly hurt my chances at these other places (at least wasting my application fees; Michigan is definitely one of my top choices)

Will withdrawing from physics, yet maintaining good grades in my other classes be enough to have my Michigan admission revoked? Is there a way to contact admissions without jeopardizing my admission?

I'd imagine it depends on what you replace physics with (if you replace it) and what your intended major is. I dropped out of physics for the second marking period, but replaced it with AP Psych, and I plan to pursue English and Psych at UM, so I can't imagine this hurt me any.

When in doubt, call admissions. No, I can't see why asking would jeopardize your admission.
