MRC and UROP

What exactly is the difference between the two?

MRC is residence hall related. UROP is not.

They're different. I heard UROP is more time consuming. Also, in UROP you actually get to assist professors with their research. Not sure about MRC though.

I thought MRC was just the residential version of UROP, but I have misunderstood.
