Where to buy Michigan apparel?

So now that I'm definitely going to Michigan, I'd like to stock up on some Michigan gear.

What website would you suggest? Does Michigan offer its students some sort of discount?

Thanks

I don't know if you have a Steve and Barry's near you, but they are sure to have some Michigan gear no matter where you live.

the m-den

the Mden is the most official outlet for Michigan gear I can think of. They have a website online as well as stores throughout the state of Michigan. It will definitely be more expensive than Steve and barry's, but if you're looking for possibly more styles and off the wall products (from pingpong balls to hats to house keys to magnets) the Mden is where you will find it.

don't buy too much though. There's a thrill to buying your new Michigan apparel when in college.

Is there a thrill in already owning at least a hundred things with Michigan on it before you get to college? And probably getting another hundred over the course of your 4 years here?

Holiday gifts are very easy when you're at Michigan. Go to Steve and Barry's, get Michigan hoodies for everyone under 40, and regular Michigan sweatshirts for everyone over 40. You'll find me in Steve and Barry's every December.

Heh...I usually do the same type thing (don't like S&B quality, so I usually hit up Moe's / Union / MDen). Every time I go home for Christmas, a birthday, etc. make a stop at one of the shops to pick up gear for family right before I drive home.

I was in M-Den yesterday, they are starting to run a lot of deals on all of the Nike stuff. Jerseys are like $30, a lot of t-shirts for $10. I'll be in AA all summer, so I'm gonna hold out a little longer, but I am watching the situation.

Steve and Barry's is where it's at! Down on the corner of State and Liberty.

Day after I got in, I stocked up on UM apparel. Got my dad a "Michigan Dad" shirt (mom is a sparty, so I didn't get her anything). Got myself some pants, hooded sweatshirts (20 bucks a pop, and they are good sweatshirts), a hat, and t-shirts. In addition, they have the car decals everyone wants near the front desk.

Stay away from the M-Den, it's very expensive.

S&B is a lot of cheap crap. Go to a S&B that is not on-campus, they sell the same stuff for $12, not $20. Like I said, with the switch from Nike to Adidas, you can get some nice quality Nike stuff for just a little more than it would cost at S&B. Crewneck sweatshirt say...$20 at S&B for their crap, $30 at M-Den for a nice Nike shirt. T-shirts...$10 for Nike shirts at M-Den, probably about the same at S&B for their stuff.
