In-state tuition if parents move?

Question! I've lived in Michigan for 16ish years now, so I was just wondering, if my parents were to move to North Carolina in August of my freshman year, would I still be eligible for in-state tuition?

i doubt it. The only thing you have to send in every year is FAFSA, and that only includes federal portion of your tax report

Yes, I think you should still be eligible...as long as you are keeping residence here and are a Michigan resident when you start, I think you can keep in-state, even if parents move. I was discussing this with someone of similar experience recently (don't remember who), they said their parents had moved out of state, but they were still on in-state tuition.

Find out how. Make your permanent address your residence in Ann Arbor?

Get it in writing if possible. I am pretty sure it is possible though.

sorry i worded that wrong.. I meant that I doubt that you won't be considered instate.. (double negative). ^ that is a perfect reason why
