JRT, wasn't it only a few short weeks ago that you were rushing to RR's defense? Now he has to go? So you decided to get off the bandwagon? It's more than the wins and losses - RR lacks character and the moral leadership to head up a program like Michigan. JRT, next time you decide to recite your M football publications, open your eyes and take a broader look. This guy stunk long before the losses started piling up.

| We're not losing every game because of the lack of character or moral leadership. We're losing because of poor play and poor coaching.
This obsession with the concept of the "Michigan man" or whatever is pointless. I absolutely don't care who the coach is or where he's from if he can deliver wins.

We were playing well when we were 4-0. We could have been 6-0. I saw potential. They didn't compete against Penn St. or Illinois. Horrible coaching. I can't make excuses for him anymore. Eventually I think he could get us back on track. I just don't want to wait 5 years for it.

Yea we lost like 38-13 or something ridiculous like that.
Tate Forcier needs to hold on to the football....and we need to play defense and we fell for Juice William's fakes soo many times.

this game made me sick. absolutely sick. every time the defense did anything right, the offense promptly squandered their chance.

Too bad the Gophers can't play Michigan this year - we might have actually had a chance to win the Jug for once... Oh well, you can just watch us destroy Illinois when they come to our house next week! Have fun with RickRod!

This team is not looking good. They are making way too many mistakes. The turning point came in the third quarter. Instead of scoring on a 76 yard pass, the refs spotted the ball (rightly so) at the 1 yard line. We managed (I do not know how) to fail to score on all four of our attemps. Illinois then got the ball on their own 1 yard line and managed to turn that series into a TD-drive. So, instead of Michigan leading 20-7, Illinois led 14-13. From that point onward, Michigan collapsed and Illinois played well.
I must confess that the MSU and Illinois losses were unexpected. This team is not developping at the pace I expected. Hopefully we can win next week against Purdue and build on that win to close the year.
We can always hope I suppose.

MSU was favored in that game, so it wasn't really unexpected. Everyone knew we were the worst 4-0 team in the country. At the beginning of the season Illinois and MSU were supposed to be the 3rd and 4th best teams in the country. But they both suck now. Illinois will go 2-10 with their only D1 win against us.

The most disappointing thing is seeing them give up during a game. One of the reasons I was excited about the Notre Dame game early in the season (the final outcome is irrelevant) was because it was a back-and-forth game where we didn't give up. It seemed like a big change from last season, and it seemed like we gained a trait necessary for becoming a top team. Now, it seems like we have lost it and that makes the loss even more disappointing.

It feels good to run up 505 yards on a team that beat such an illustrious school as UMich.

We used to be amazing under our previous coaches. We have like the most wins ever in the big 10 or some other ridiculously awesome stat.
Its just a really rough transition I guess...and having 2 freshmen quarterbacks don't really help at all..

We have more wins than any other college in the country and the higest winning percentage. We are up like 50 or so wins on Texas, but our winning % will keep falling as long as RR is here.
