Sociology with a concentration on business and the economy

I go to the U of M and I'm thinking about doing the sociology with a sub-concentration on business and the economy, and I'm wondering if this is a marketable degree.

I want to work in finance after graduation and I have already completed two internship. However I'm thinking about changing my major from econ to soc.

Basically I never wanted to major in econ but I decided to only because I thought it was the most marketable, but in I really do like sociology.

Also I have taken a lot of econ and a few accounting classes.

Thanks.

If you're looking to act more like it's a business degree, try asking here: Business Major - College Confidential

From what I understand, finance is very mathy, and that's what would be important. Have you looked at or considered this: UM Mathematics-Actuarial (Note that both Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Mathematics are on that page) Or maybe: UM Mathematics-UG Math-Sci (Mathematical Economics).

I don't know anything about any of those programs or the sociology one you asked about, but I thought I'd bring them to your attention in case you hadn't heard of them before.
