Pros: cheap, decently comfortable, decent housing maintenance.

Cons: Noisy, no dishwasher, you can hear the person flush the toilet on the floor above, there are alot of asians and indians living there...not that thats a bad thing, but you can smell the "ethnic" food they are making. For some people that wouldnt smell so nice.

there really are no pros to utowers except cost and location

if you're going go go apartments instead of house or dorms, live at zaragon, 411, or one of campus realty's newer places (barrister, crawford, forest edge) if cost isnt an issue. 411's location kind of sucks though.

I also think it depends on the apt you are living in Utowers.. I got the one on the top floor with a great view so am pretty happy with it.. My only qualm is that the elevators are annoying and i wish they'd upgrade them.. Btw i'm looking for a housemate for the fall so pm me if you are interested!

Tower Plaza is nicer and just as conveniently located. Maynard House is also nicer.

Number 1, when I was researching apartments last summer, Univesity Towers turned me off because its facilities are subpar. There are much nicer housing options elsewhere (especially important if you'll bring a car).
