I am a current U of M student who was waitlisted and then denied for U of M MT this year, and I'm planning to reaudition in the fall...but I was just wondering how many people were on the wait list...

And also, if I was waitlisted with vocal nodules, what are my chances of being admitted after I've completed treatment?

This is just my humble opinion, but the fact that you came as close as being waitlisted and are still attending U of M not only shows you that you have the chops for the program but it shows the auditioners how much you want to be at this school. I think you have pretty great chances but that's just me. Not sure about the nodules.

I really really want the program, and I've just had one tragedy after another getting in my way...I really hope it happens for me this time, I can't spend years upon years chasing the same program.

Thanks a ton! I think I'm going to go talk to one of the advisors at the music school and see how I can earn an advantage...in terms of piece selection and audition date...
