Current UMN students a question...

actually two questions:
1-Do instructors put their notes online for most classes like they do at some universities?
2-Where is the best place on campus to get study skills help?

D is a little nervous about her college-level skills in this area (I am too )

is she doing good in HS ?

if she is, she shouldn't worry... it could be hard at first, because college is substantially harder, but I'm sure she will catch up pretty fast..

I took 3 years off of HS and I wasn't a great student in HS either, but I dedicated myself when I came to college and have a 3.92..

Just a comment.. I'm sure if there is study help it wouldn't hurt either. Here at my college we have Math tutoring room, accting tutoring, physics.. not sure about U of M..

believersmom, I'm not a student and I can't answer your first question in regard to "most classes" - but in my department at the U, yes, the instructors do put their notes online. Sorry, I don't know anything about the study skills help!
