My son is going, and he's excited. We're going to Summer Welcome July 6-7. He's hanging out with the Facebook Mizzou 2012 group, and with groups for his dorm, his floor, and maybe even his FIG, too (I can't keep track). Thanks for all your advice and support along the way, mizzou-mom. Now that I'll be a Mizzou Mom, too, I'll join you here. I have a feeling it's going to be a great experience.

From which state you are?
After getting a lot of really helpful advices here I also arranged the campus trip for my daughter in July ( she is a junior) . Even though it’s pretty far from CA, it seems that the University and Journalism program are really great there. Keep us informed how is your son doing there.

Tori-mom, I sent you a PM. Have fun visiting Mizzou this summer. I can't find the statistic at the moment, but California students account for a high percentage of out-of-staters at Mizzou.
