| Unsure about School of Engineering/Physical Science
I have a friend whose son was admitted to the School of Engineering/Physical Sciences because he likes chemistry, physics, math but does not really want to be an engineer. He is very interested in many things, including outdoor education which is in the Ed. School, I believe. Does anyone know how possible it is for a student in the Engineering school to take courses in other schools? Are all the students there to be engineers or are some studying the physical sciences for their own sake? Or is the school just trying to weed out the kids who can't make it in the engineering courses?
