UNC early action

Im a high school junior and I want to apply as an early action candidate. According to us news, the acceptance rate for EA's are much higher, 42 percent i think. Yet, I wanna stand-out in my senior year of high school and be able to send my mid year reports before I get notified of my entrance. So, I dont know what I should do. What do you guys suggest?

Well it depends on what kind of grades you had in your junior year. If you had A's and B's with sufficiently hard courses, then do early. The worst that can happen (provided you don't mess up the essay and get decent teacher reqs) is get deferred, which will give you another chance after mid-year transcripts go in. If you had low grades this year and are confident that you can do better this year, then do regular because they like to see improvement.

I can apply again if I have been rejected as an early action candidate?? Will I still have the same chances of getting in as any other regular admission candidate?

    10th

Should I apply early? take a look at my profile for more info.
