ur pretty young
15 senior? apart from likely popularity issues, youhave a pretty good chance. it would be easier if you had gotten a tiny bit better sats but otherwise, you seem like a good student.

in state youre guaranteed

out of state, your EC's propel you into the 80% chance range id say.

If you're out of state, almost impossible

I'd say chances are next to none if you are out of state applicant (SAT's/ GPA's - neither of them are close to even meeting minimum criteria for UNC). If you are in-state applicant then there may be some chance, since you had skipped a grade (that could be considered as somewhat notable achievement).

perhaps i put too much emphasis on your EC's. I still think your chance is OK if you have good essays and rec's. Im sure you found a great hook. Youre gonna find a lot of nay-sayers on this board that are just gonna depress you. Ignore em and try anyway. You never know!

you are right john, its almost f***ing insane. But statistically his stats are way below par of way is considered the "usual" UNC applicant.

i agree and I was making no comment directed to you personally.

i believe that the UNC board lacks a few thousand members. Mich has like 13k and UVa even has about 5k more than we do. It seems like the opinions are so heavily concentrated on this board that we truly do not have a good idea of what is UNC quality. I know we have a few statistics but we do not have hundreds of students already accepted and some insiders on the acceptance process. I do thank whoever can shed some light on the whole thing, but I think people stand a much better chance than anyone on this board will give them.

roll tide.
