| Okay guys, so I logged into my UNC homepage this morning and there was a message saying "Important Updates Just for You." But when I tried to click through and see this said update, the page essentially just refreshed and the message disappeared. I tried checking my status and everything and it was all giving me the same old same old "Your application is complete" stuff. So the bottom line is, nothing really changed. But I still found it weird that that message popped up. Anybody else experienced this? Good sign? Bad sign? Meaningless?

| Currently attend UConn (sophomore standing), but would enter as sophomore.
4.8 high school G.P.A. (weighted)
3.6 college G.P.A.
SAT- CR-730 W-720 M-570
ACT- 30
This is my second attempt to become a Heel, as I was denied freshman acceptance as an OSS. Just crossing my fingers and hoping the old "if at first you don't succeed" adage holds true. If not, I'll likely try again next year as a junior. Third times the charm? :P | |

| When I just logged into my account I got something that also said:
'Updates Just For You' I clicked into it and it was all my contact information essentially and then said if you change it, it will be reflected in your application. It gave you the choice to just not change anything and I clicked that and it went back to the usual home screen. Regardless, I did get that same 'Update Just For You' as the poster who received it a few above.

| Hey DMB, I assume it is something meaningless as well but it is funny that a few other people did not get that even though we did. Furthermore, if you look a few pages back one of those guys wrote a whole series of things that indicated an accepted student and one sign was an update tab popping up saying 'Important Updates Just For You'. Go look for yourself, I think it is on page 4. | |

| Haha yes, I did see that list on page 4 and I do find this whole "important update" incident to be, well, interesting to say the least. I'm just so hesitant to get my hopes up, so I've got to assume there's nothing to it at this point. :P
I guess we'll find out in a few days if it really was a good indicator... | |
